The group vying to put a sick-time measure to a vote in Orange County said this morning it has collected enough petition signatures to make it on to the Nov. 6 ballot.
“We made it! I am so proud that our community has rallied around this cause,” Julie Norris, a local business owner said in a statement released by the group. “Earned Sick Time will keep our community and economy healthy and strong by allowing people to tend to their health needs and save businesses money at the same time.” Click here for the Orlando Sentinel story.
