Our Mission
The Election Protection Committee focuses on several key areas to ensure a fair and transparent election process:
Helping Cure Ballots: We assist voters in correcting any issues with their ballots to ensure they are counted. This includes providing information, support, and guidance to resolve any discrepancies.
Recruiting Volunteers: Volunteers are the backbone of our efforts. We are actively recruiting dedicated individuals to help with various tasks, from phone banking to providing voter assistance on Election Day.
Serving as Poll Watchers and Poll Greeters: Our poll watchers monitor polling places to ensure compliance with election laws and procedures. Poll greeters welcome voters, answer their questions, and provide crucial information to make their voting experience smooth and stress-free.
Attending Canvassing Board Meetings: We participate in meetings with the Supervisor of Elections office to oversee the canvassing process and address any concerns that may arise, ensuring transparency and accountability.
