Women’s Equality Day serves as a powerful reminder that collective liberation demands persistent persistence, and that we stand on the shoulders of those who championed progress for generations beyond themselves. We continue fighting today for equality and as we carry the torch forward, we reflect on the contributions of our ancestors along the way.
Join Representatives LaVon Bracy Davis, Anna V. Eskamani, Johanna López and Rita Harris on Monday, August 21st for a virtual discussion in advance of Women’s Equality Day taking place Saturday, August 26th. We’ll discuss the significance of this day and address pathways for state policy change in Florida.
