Representative Randolph Bracy To Host Town Hall Meeting
6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, August 8, Ocoee

Representative Randolph Bracy (D-Orlando) is scheduled to host a town hall meeting with constituents to discuss important topics of interest in Florida House District 45 in Central Florida.

The meeting is free and open to the public. The conversation will be wide-ranging, but is expected to include discussion of House Bill 235, the DREAMers driver license bill that, had it not been vetoed by Governor Rick Scott, would have allowed young people to gain driving privileges if they’re covered by the 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DOCA) immigration policy order. Representative Bracy also will discuss legislation that he’ll offer in the 2014 legislative session, including a proposal to require felony juries in Florida to be comprised of 12 jurors instead of the current six-member juries.
