What: Soul Food Friendly Competition and Political Fundraiser

When: Saturday, October 19th Noon – 3pm

Where: Amvets Post 30. 315 Ferguson Dr. 32805

Soul Food Competition Categories:

-Sweet Potato Pie or Cakes
-Gumbo or soup
-BBQ or fried chicken, Turkey Wings or Meatloaf
-Side item (mack & cheese, greens, potato salad or coleslaw, string beans )
-Cornbread
-Sweet Tea or Lemonade
-Constinuent Choice (can be from any category)

Details for registration:
*$25 per category entry fee (pre-registration required)
*Same day registration entry fee will be $50 so please register in advance.
*Electric provided. Please plan to be self sufficient for sampling. (small plates, napkins, forks/spoons, etc)
*Judging takes place promptly at 1:00pm.
*Please plan enough food for 5 judges and up to 75 people to sample.
$$$(Cash prizes) for category winners selected by our celebrity judges and constinuents.

Suggested donation for food sampling: $10 per person.
