Florida’s People Florida’s Promise State Candidate Forum

The public and certain central Florida legislative candidates or newly designated members for the next regular session of the legislature are invited by the Orlando Sentinel, AARP, the Florida Coalition for Children, the Children’s Home Society of Florida, the League of Women Voters of Florida, Florida TaxWatch and Fox 35 to participate in a public community conversation:  “Florida’s People – Florida’s Promise”

Columnist, Scott Maxwell, from the Orlando Sentinel, and Keith Landry from FOX 35 will co-emcee/co-moderate the event.

Location: Orlando Shakespeare Theater (the Margeson Theatre), 812 E. Rollins St., Orlando, FL 32803

Time: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the event where candidates will be able to meet-and-greet attendees and participate in media interviews. Light refreshments will be served.

Audience members can submit written questions for candidates at and during the event. Questions will cover senior, children/family, taxpayer/governmental operations and general interest issues.
