Those with experience in the Hispanic Public Relations industry will confirm that community marketing is the key to long-term image and loyalty brand building, and that the Hispanic community in general – and Puerto Ricans in particular – take an interest in, and patronize, those corporations and/or institutions which support activities in their community.

The 2015 Summit will begin on Thursday, May 14, with a Welcoming Reception sponsored by Rums of Puerto Rico celebrating “A Taste of Puerto Rico”. Friday, May 15th will be a day of special workshops, networking and a Business Luncheon. The home of the Summit is the Holiday Inn Buena Vista, 1805 Hotel Plaza Blvd., Downtown Disney, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 in Orlando.

The Summit was created as an educational forum and as an opportunity to bring together public officials, community and business leaders, and interested members of the community to discuss the challenges which face us and the opportunities available to us. The organizing group is Dynamic Community Development Corporation (CDC), a 501 (c) (3) Federal and State tax-exempt economic development corporation. Although the event will be geared to the Puerto Rican community, we expect, as in previous years, large numbers of attendees by members of Florida’s other Hispanic communities, African Americans, as well as from the community-at-large.
