TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida Gov. Rick Scott on Tuesday flatly rejected any talk of expanding the number of early-voting days in the state prior to this year’s presidential election despite a federal court ruling that a new state law court hurt minority participation.
And the Republican governor went further, hinting that he may take action against the lone local election supervisor who is not going along with a plan to offer only eight days of early voting instead of at least 12 days.
