Ways you can get involved with the Democratic Party in Orange County

  • Register to vote as (or change party affiliation to) a Democrat
  • Attend our monthly meetings held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7pm.
  • Volunteer on a committee.
  • Become a Precinct Captain– Organize a precinct, your own or one close to you, for upcoming elections. You can make the job easier by recruiting neighborhood leaders in the precinct.
  • Become a Neighborhood Leader– Receive a short list of Democrats in your area and encourage them to go to the polls!
  • Attend our monthly mingles! Held on the last Thursday of every month, this is a great opportunity to meet fellow Dems and enjoy great food!

Here’s How

  • You must be a registered Democratic voter in Orange County. If you need to register or change your party affiliation, go online to ocfelections.com. Select Register to Vote under the “For the Voter” tab to the left of the page.
  • Complete the interest form below. (Please use your voter card to complete your voter registration number.)
  • You will receive an email inviting you to attend a New Member Orientation session. These sessions last approximately an hour and will provide you with a wealth of information about the OCDEC’s goals and what it means to be an OCDEC member.
  • Sign the loyalty oath and become active!
